As I came out of the front door, I heard a rustling of the palm.

The above image is what caught my eye. 

 

 

This is the one who lost.

He is dark and patterned.

 

Here is what the fight was about.

He still hasn't gotten the girl.  This female,  doesn't seem to be receptive to him,

even though he is showing his brightest colors to impress her.
